Our Plans
The new unit is designed to meet strong demand for employment uses in the Mid Sussex area.
It features high-quality office space on the main eastern elevation of the building and flexible warehouse space located to the rear.
The whole building is designed to minimise energy consumption and the plans include opportunities for on-site renewables, including PV panels and electric car charging points.

Car parking is provided to the front of the offices with accessible spaces for wheelchair users and charging points for electric vehicles. Secure cycle parking is also included in our plans.
The flexible warehouse space provides a secure service area to meet the requirements of prospective occupiers, with the main area of activity facing the existing logistics park.

Landscaping and green space
A significant area of landscaping and green space is included in our plans to enhance the setting of the new unit and reinforce existing landscaping around the site.
The site would be reprofiled to lower the building relative to its surroundings and raise the landscaped areas to help screen the building from local views.
We are proposing a significant amount of new tree planting across the site to help screen the new building from local views and create an attractive environment for those using the space. This includes a belt of new trees along Copthorne Way and Worsell Drive – the main access into the existing logistics park and neighbouring Heathy Wood residential community.
The green spaces include a fitness trail, outdoor gym and outdoor meeting area available for the local community to use. An enhanced pedestrian and cycle link connects to the existing routes to the north and south of the site.
